1. Always warm the body up before stretching ..ie soft jog, easy cuts. knee lifts. soft trebles in trainers .
2. keeps stretches short held ( 8 to 10 sec ) and moving gently in between stretches .
3.After stretch use more specific movements from dance to further warm up with dance shoes on .
4.Remember the colder the room the more we need to warm up and the stiffer your muscles feel ( if dancing a lot before majors ) then you may need to warm up longer. Generally 10 mins should be sufficient .
