A few years ago I was at a very low point in my life...probably the lowest. As is the case with many people, life had thrown a few challenges...my son had been ill, family bereavements and my husband was seriously ill. In amongst all this, I was caring for my elderly Mum and final straw was when she developed cancer and passed away...all very traumatic! I was very low...no exercise and just comfort eating and drinking. Finally, after some help, I made the decision to change. I knew exercise would help so went to Nuffield and discovered Edwin was taking classes there! I knew I had to join. When I started Edwin's classes, I was very overweight, very unfit and had no energy. His classes were amazing for me! Not only did it give me new focus, but I gradually began to feel stronger and fitter and the pounds started to shift. Edwin's enthusiasm and positivity is contagious and I started to believe I could do it. He set a pace I could handle and motivated me to get the best out of every exercise...it was hard work but always achievable. I still find it hard to believe that I am now a comfy size 10, almost 5 stone lighter and have lost inches all over...8 inches from my waist! My legs and arms are more toned than they have been in years. I love how I feel now...my confidence has returned and I feel healthy, strong and fit. I am still at classes but now do the on demand workouts twice per week if I can't make class, or if I'm on holiday. The format is brilliant and will work you efficiently and effectively from top to toe whenever suits you, leaving plenty time to get out there and show off the new, improved you!!!

“ Before my daughter was born I was a regular gym goer, attending classes 6-7 times a week. Exercise for me, is about more than fitness - it relieves stress, keeping me motivated and focused.
Since becoming a new Mum, I’ve just not had time to go to the gym as often as I’d like, which I’ve found harder than I expected . I’ve had to adjust to a new routine with my amazing little girl and accept that there isn't the same time to exercise as before. That’s why I’ve started working out at home. Ive been regularly going to Edwin’s classes at my local gym for some time now and always leave them feeling physically and mentally better. With Edwin’s on demand workouts, I can achieve the same fantastic results in the comfort of my own home. Most importantly, I can fit them around my baby and our commitments, meaning exercise is once again part of my day. The convenience is amazing - when my daughter is sleeping or even just playing happily, I try to fit one of Edwin’s workouts in - I’ve been inspired to get back into regular exercise and push myself.
Not only do I feel stronger, happier and healthier, working out in this way has allowed me a little bit of “me” time again, giving me more energy to focus on my baby girl. “
